House rules

Spacebook works because people bring real footage and real stories, and because nobody gets laughed at for it. Four rules keep it that way.

1. Post what is yours, or credit where it came from

Your own recording is best. If you are sharing somebody else's video, link to the original instead of re-uploading it.

2. Say what you know and what you are guessing

"Filmed from my back garden at 4am, no idea what it is" is a great post. Presenting a guess as a fact is not.

3. The awakening and story rooms are support, not debate

People arrive there mid crisis. Answer with your own experience, ask before you diagnose, and leave the arguing in the video vault. Nothing on this site is medical, psychiatric or legal advice. If somebody is in danger, tell them to contact local emergency services.

4. No hate, no doxxing, no harassment

No personal details of other people, no targeting anyone for their beliefs, no sexual content, nothing illegal. Every post has a report button, and reported posts come out of the public listings while they are reviewed.

Uploads

Video files are capped so the site stays fast for everyone. Anything longer or larger belongs on a hosting service with the link pasted here.
